FDNM 1005
Students study the principles of microbial growth and control of pathogens, and their application to sanitation and safety practices in food service facilities. They examine the Canadian standards of sanitation and safety, and the development and implementation of standards to minimize risk.

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
